Today I booked my flight from Vienna to Helsinki. After searching for the cheapest way to get to Helsinki, I booked an Austrian flight with the following details:
Vienna - Helsinki
21.08.2008 10.30 - 14.00
Flight: Austrian OS345 (operated by Tyrolean Airways / Austrian Arrows)
Helsinki - Vienna
13.12.2008 14.55 - 16.35
Flight: Austrian OS346 (operated by Tyrolean Airways / Austrian Arrows)
The Metropolia International Office is on holiday until 03.08.2008 so I expect information about my courses not earlier than this date. I'm excited ...

My FAQ-turn
Good morning everybody,
Yesterday I had the chance to meet Antonia in an cafe in Vienna. She has been to Helsinki's EVTEK university (which is one part of the new merged metropolia university I'm studying) during the past summer term and so she's the right person I can ask all my Finland-related questions. It wasn't really an FAQ-turn, it was even more an very restful conversation ^^.
Antonia answered my questions concerning financial things, accomodation, mobile phones, exams, courses, internet, offered trips, the drinking habbits of the Finns and a lot more.
She's definetly the right person to ask all Finland-related things :-). Thanks a lot Antonia!

In the meantime I learned the timetables & connections & maps of the Helsinki mass transport systems "by heart". I'm already a bit familiar with this city. I know where I can find shops, IKEA's, McDonalds and other important things :-D.
